Show notes will go up sometime after the episode. We are recording Wednesday, June 22nd at around 7:30pm ET.
If you've listened to our podcast for awhile, no doubt you've heard us discuss HotS in detail. Several month ago all of us were playing it quite a bit and talking about our exploits every week on the show. Since then, Corey has stopped playing as much, and Dan has stopped altogether, but Eric and Will are still going strong and do a thorough breakdown (as much as we can anyway, due to time constraints) of HotS post launch. We also kind of used the launch episode of Heroes of the Storm to finish talking about it mostly for good!Read More
For this week's episode, the long awaited final chapter in the tale of the famed monster slayer Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher 3 was supposed to come out in the fall initially, but was delayed until this May for further polishing. Though some of us were disappointed, with all the broken games seemingly released too early, people generally wanted CD Projekt Red to take their time with The Witcher. It seems to have paid off, as The Witcher 3 released to unanimous glowing reviews. Not to spoil the episode...but we love it too! Here our thoughts as usual, as well as some early spoiler talk after the outro.Read More
Prior to the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt we wanted to go back and cover the first two games in the series, so Dan and Corey cover both the plots and our thoughts on The Witcher, and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Corey had played through the entirety of the the first Witcher game, with Dan only really getting through the first chapter before getting distracted by something else. Both played through the second one, with Dan playing through it right before The Witcher 3. Unfortunately, there wont be any show notes this week, Will wanted to avoid any spoilers so he came late to the episode and we forgot to do them later on. If you wish to avoid any spoilers skip ahead to 1:08:45 when we're beyond the main segment.Read More
