Episode 141: April Fools in Gaming 2014

Every year on April fools day, gamers everywhere are treated to jokes coming from developers, coverage websites, and individuals throughout the gaming community.  Most are obviously jokes, like Francis playing Half Life 3, designed to entertain us and lighten the mood in what can sometimes be a fairly toxic community.  Though some were able seem like legitimate news stories and one in particular may not have even been a joke.  The Thumbstick Athletes help sort out some of the mess and talk about some of our favorites, which ones fooled us, and even some we thought would be really sweet if they were true.

Episode 140: inFAMOUS: Second Son

inFAMOUS: Second Son is Sony's first big exclusive to come out since the launch of the PS4, and all the Athletes agreed that it had to be good.  Anyone that had seen screenshots and especially gameplay videos already knew that inFAMOUS was going to look good, but is it just a pretty face with nothing going on behind that sweet, sweet eyecandy?  We also touch on the controversial purchase of VR headset company Oculus by social media giant Facebook and what we think that could mean for the future of virtual reality.

Episode 125: 2013 VGX Awards
