This week we tackle one of the main PS4 exclusives for 2015 in Bloodborne.  Developed by From Software of the Souls series fame, Bloodborne was the one game that made Dan reluctant to trade in his PS4.  Luckily he was able to play quite a bit of Eric's copy by borrowing Will's PS4, giving him a good 6-8 hours of time with it.  Bloodborne will immediately feel familiar to Souls vets, but has some interesting new mechanics and features tossed into the mix as well as a slight increase in the speed of combat to make it feel fresh.  Sony really needed Bloodborne to be good...and it is!

Dying Light: Thumbstick Athletes Podcast Episode 185

Dying Light had all the signs of being a steamy turd; a delayed release, late review copies for gaming media, and delayed physical versions of the game in some parts of the world.  The red flags were too much for Dan, who ended up cancelling his pre-order for a digital copy on PC.  Luckily plenty of people were playing on Twitch, and trusted personalities in gaming culture were all seemingly enjoying their time with Dying Light, alleviating any fears of a crummy game and allowing Dan to purchase it without waiting for the reviews to slowly filter in.  Find out what Dan and Corey thought of Dying Light on the PC, and Eric on the PS4.
