Nintendo continues their tradition of naming their products weird things with the New 3DS XL. At first glance you would just think it was a new 3DS XL and not an entirely new product. Just the like whole Wii/Wii U debacle, the average consumer would probably have no idea what the difference is. Bad name and lack of charging cable aside, three out of the four Thumbstick Athletes picked up the new 3DS last Friday. We of course covered the features and differences between the New 3DS XL and standard 3DS and 3DS XL, (It's even confusing to type for someone who knows the difference) as well as giving our impressions of the system at this point. For this week's episode, we do a dual main segment on both Wind Waker HD
and Beyond: Two Souls. Eric, being the only one of us that currently
owns a PS3 took charge of the Beyond talk and Dan took over the Wind
Waker talk being the only one currently in attendance that has a Wii U.
Later on in the episode the Athletes discuss whether or not games
should move in the direction of films and be more interactive movies,
much like Beyond: Two Souls. Show notes and flash player contained within:

Though we all kind of took "Ambassador Games" in a slightly different
direction, it still kind of boiled down to which games we thought put
gaming's best foot forward. Later on in the episode we get into some more XBox One talk, plus some of the games we're going to be buying/playing in June. Show notes and flash player after the jump:
