Assassin's Creed: Unity/Halo: The Master Chief Collection; Thumbstick Athletes Podcast Episode 174

Assassin's Creed: Unity/Halo: The Master Chief Collection; Thumbstick Athletes Podcast Episode 174

It was a bad week for game releases.  Two titanic franchises released games in AC: Unity and Halo: MCC, both of which, quite frankly, don't work all that well.  In AC: Unity you have series standard crummy controls, a boatload of bugs and glitches, as well as overbearing microtransaction/app integration.  Ubisoft even delayed reviews for Unity until 12 hours after release, raising even more suspicions about Ubi knowingly releasing a buggy/unfinished project.  For Halo, the multiplayer is still mostly unplayable nearly two weeks later.  Insanely long and poor matchmaking, lag, and bugged single player campaign more or less ruined the Halo launch and stymied any momentum the Xbox One was getting headed into the holiday season.  Things can only get better from here!  (Hopefully!)
