Evolve: Thumbstick Athletes Podcast Episode 187

I think everyone is starting is to realize that the first-person shoot genre in gaming has gotten relatively stale as of late.  Specifically the multi-player FPS seems to have been recycled and rehashed to death, so it's nice to hear when developers are trying to change the pace a little.  Last year it was Titanfall who tried to shake up the genre with mechs and parkour tossed into the standard multi-player affair.  This year it's Evolve's turn to tweak the formula with asymetrical 4v1 multi-player where 4 players team up to take down an ever evolving, giant monster.  Will takes the lead in this episode, giving a rundown of the characters, abilities and gameplay and the conversation turns to DLC later on with Evolve's strange implementation of of their season pass and different versions of the game.
